1960’s Kitchen Before & After
We took this very dated 1960’s kitchen and updated with new cabinets, flooring, paint and layout. The new look is modern with clean fresh lines and functional features. More counter space by installing a peninsula and moving the stove. New 2’x2′ tile floor laid on a 45-degree angle adds to the new look.
1980’s Kitchen Before & After
This kitchen is in a house build in the 1980’s. The cabinets before we started had already been upgraded with newer doors, many years earlier.
The job scope was to remove old cabinets, install new with a new layout. Install light in glass door cabinets and lights under the valance. We were to also install crown molding to ceiling thus having to remove the boxed in bulk heads above the existing cabinets. New back splash and wall coverings (partial wall) with pot lights was to be incorporated as well.
During the job, wall coverings were changed to extend from floor to ceiling, new door trim installed, pantry was determined to be too deep (blocking access between kitchen and eating area), redesign the corner cabinets and incorporate a bookcase which was not in the original plan. A fair bit of customizing was required.
McHaleReno listened to the client requests and worked to make the ideas a real kitchen. The result is wonderful and looks better than we had thought. Nicholas attention to detail really paid off on this job. It shows very well.
Basement Kitchen Before & After
The basement kitchen area was a small, partial working sink with a cabinet and a refrigerator. We moved the kitchen to the opposite side of the wall and added a fully functional kitchen, for an in-law apartment.
Stone Wall Kitchen Renovation
This kitchen we updated with new counter top, flooring, painting and installed stone on the wall.
