Meet The Face Behind McHaleReno

I’m Greg McHale, the proud owner of McHaleReno.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

While working as a home inspector, I would often spot electrical faults and mold-related concerns that could have been avoided. It led me to conduct small renovation jobs for family and friends, which was greatly appreciated.

I felt that if I could combine my vast experience in project management with my family’s experience in drywall, plastering, painting, and commercial millwork installations, we could help customers save a lot of time and money.

So in 2007, I started a family-operated home renovation business in Whitby, Ontario, and it didn’t take long to grow through word of mouth. I attribute my success to executing precision craftsmanship, and I believe what sets me apart from the others is my respect for clients. Having come from a customer service background, I’m tuned to listen carefully to their needs, and I’m honest with what can and cannot get achieved. I also provide competitive pricing and inform of the cost in advance so that there are no hidden surprises, after finishing the work.

It’s rewarding when an assignment comes to an end, and I’ve been able to deliver the project within budget and make my clients’ dreams a reality. It has created many satisfactory moments over the years.

I once renovated a 1940 house by constructing a new master bath. It was rewarding to witness the clients’ pleased reaction, and I felt incredibly proud of the finished product. The experience gave me the confidence to take on larger tasks with a varied scope.

While I’m passionate about renovating homes, in my downtime, I love using computers, traveling to new places, and listening to music.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
